Made Mint x Dizzy Ducks Bistro: Christmas Toy and Food Drive Campaign

Bringing joy and togetherness to those who need it most

The festive season is a time for warmth, togetherness, and the joy of giving. However, the thought of anyone waking up alone on Christmas morning or struggling to put food on the table during this celebratory time has touched our hearts, this became the driving force behind the Christmas Toy and Food Drive Campaign.

All of our dedicated cleaners at Made Mint, work with a lot of families and elderly people throughout the year to keep their homes pristine all year round, but we believe that our efforts should not stop there. Our partner in the campaign, Dizzy Ducks Bistro is the heart of the Wrea Green Village, and are never hesitant of jumping onto any campaigns which are designed to help those in need in our local area. It’s a pleasure to work alongside them!

Our campaign has a heartfelt goal

To support those in our community who are truly struggling for various reasons during the Christmas season and we want to ensure that no one in our community faces Christmas alone, with nothing, or without the joy of a festive meal. We aim to bring joy, companionship, and the essentials of a festive celebration to everyone, ensuring that no one is left alone or hungry during this special time of the year.

At the heart of this initiative is a collaboration between two local businesses and their teams, Made Mint, Founded by Cloe Martin, daughter of Dizzy Ducks Bistro’s Manager, Julie Martin. Made Mint spearheads the campaign, transporting all donations to selected charities and Dizzy Ducks Bistro is where all of your donations will be dropped off ready to be transported out. This collaboration is a testament to the unity and support within the Wrea Green community.
